AOMC CLIMATOLOGICAL RINGBOOK. PART XX. EMPIRICAL FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTIONS OF WIND COMPONENTS AT CONSTANT ALTITUDE LEVELS, PORT LYAUTEY, MOROCCO

Abstract

Climatological parameters of calar winds, zonal and meridional wind components, semiplanar winds and wind shear at 1 km altitude intervals are presented for the location Port Lyau ey, Morocco. The frequency distributions have been established for the 12 monthly and the annual reference periods with values of cumulative percentage frequency corresponding to the mean and plus and minus one, two and three sigma levels of normal distribution. The statistical information is based on the observational period 1951 1957. (Author)
