Abstract

This book contains formulas and charts for strength calculations for flat and curved sandwich panels with various types of cores (uniform foamed-plastic cores, corrugated cores, etc.) under various conditions of constraint and for various combinations of applied loads. Data are given on t e choice of optimum panel constants, and on strength tests for panels. The book is intended for design engineers, scientists, and students in the appropriate specialties.
