INSTALLATION AND EVALUATION OF ENGINE PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS EQUIPMENT

Abstract

The Service Test Division installed and evaluated the Sperry Turbine Vibration Indicator System and the Avien Time-Temperature Recorder System in the model F8U-2 airplane. Both systems are satisfactory for service use in the F8U-2. It is recommended that future installations be performed in accordance with the procedures described in this report. (Author)
