Vaporization of Compounds and Alloys at High Temperatures. Part 8. Mass Spectrometric Study of Gaseous Species in the System Boron-Carbon

Abstract

The molecules BC, B2C, and BC2 have been identified. Their atomization energies have been measured to be D(BC) = 105 + or - 10; D(B2C) = 260 + or - 10; D(BC2) = 302 + or - 10 kcal/mole.
