AN EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF LUNAR AND AURORAL SCATTERED SIGNALS. PART II. AURORAL ECHOES AT 915 MC

Abstract

The results of the preliminary investigation of the characteristics of 915 mc radio signals backscattered by the aurora are presented, and recommendations for further study with a monostatic pulsed radar system are discussed as a possible solution to difficulties inherent in the present mode of operation.
