DOD HIGH STRENGTH TITANIUM ALLOY SHEET RESEARCH PROGRAM
Abstract
Metallurgical, formability, joining and machining data for the 5Al-5Sn-5Zr and 7Al-12Zr super alpha-Ti sheet alloys are presented. The evaluations are complete with the exception of creep studies at 900 and 1100 F, and fabrication sequences (stress and contamination studies) investigations. (Author)
