A SURVEY OF THE SHOCK STRUCTURE PROBLEM

Abstract

A survey is made of recent theoretical and experimental investigations on the structure of shock waves. Included are discussions of shock structure in m fusion phenomena in shock waves, some brief comments on detonation waves, and some remarks on the interaction between the shock wave and the shock layer in low-density hypersonic flow over a blunt body.
