PROGRESS IN MICROELECTRONICS

Abstract

The history of the microelectronics program is discussed, and the basic techniques used in the fabrication of circuits by thin-film and semiconductor methods are described. The primary objectives of the Bureau of Naval Weapons microelectronics program are defined in terms of progress in current projects. Future trends are covered very briefly. (Author)
