Similarity Solution for Cylindrical Magnetohydrodynamic Blast Waves

Abstract

This analysis is primarily concerned with the interaction between the flow of an ionized gas and a magnetic field. The particular problem treated corresponds very closely to conditions existing in exploding wire experiments, and should prove useful in interpreting the results of such experiments. (Author)
