DEVELOPMENT OF PROCESSING METHODS FOR COLUMBIUM ALLOY SHEET
Abstract
Progress to date on sheet production and evaluation on Contract AF 33(657)7210 is summarized. The total of 28 sheets of columbium base alloy, each 18-inches by 30-inches and in three gages (0.012, 0.018, and 0.030-inches), required under the contract were produced. The fabrication of the sheets and the portion of the evaluation program completed to date on properties of the resultant alloy, HAYNES alloy No. Cb-752, are covered. (Author)
