CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENTS RECORDING, ANALYSIS, AND MANAGEMENT. VOLUME I. MANULA FOR BUYING ACTIVITIES.

Abstract

The Manual of Buying Activities, Volume I of Contractual Requirements Recording, Analysis, and Management System (CRAM), delineates the flow of control paperwork through affected Air Force Offices in the procurement of research and development (R+D) goods and/or services from and/or by private contractors. An automated, procurement activity, management control system, CRAM uses high-speed computers to maintain a master control file of data pertinent to the processing of contractual requirements and instruments from initiation to completion under a standardization pattern which is designed to provide Air Force buying offices and management with continually updated information as to procurement activity schedules and any detailed deviations thereto. This manula details the steps to be taken in each office. It is the operations manual for procurement activity control and reporting, and will be revised periodically by the addition, revision, and/or deletion of pages. (Author)
