SANDWICH DESIGN AIDS,

Abstract

Design aids which will simplify the analysis work for the designer of sandwich panels are presented. Included are rapid design charts for calculating the weight per square foot of sandwich panels; the moment of inertia of spaced facings; and the maximum deflection of uniformly loaded, simply supported rectangular sandwich plates.
