THE RELATIVE ABUNDANCE OF NUCLEI HEAVIER THAN LITHIUM IN PRIMARY COSMIC RADIATION.

Abstract

The relative abundance of nuclei heavier than lithium in primary cosmic radiation was investigated. Photometric measurements were made on 362 tracks of heavy primary particles, which were found in an emulsion stack exposed over Texas at 41 degrees geomagnetic latitude. The measurements have been corrected for different emulsion effects. Results of observations are presented. (Author)
