A SEMIAUTOMATIC WAR-GAMING SYSTEM,

Abstract

Digital computers and gaming are no longer unique subjects. For that matter neither are the two extremes of completely mechanized games and manually played games, but a compromise between the two is something of a novelty. Few semiautomatic war-gaming systems have been developed and tested. Thus there is a twofold purpose for this paper. First it serves as a written record of progress to date in developing one such system, and second it enables other interested groups to draw on this and, it is hoped, to benefit from the experiences involved in this initial attempt.
