EXPERIMENTAL GAMING AND SOME ASPECTS OF COMPETITIVE BEHAVIOR,

Abstract

The relationship between the formal theory of games and problems in experimental gaming is explored. Observations are made concerning the conceptual and experimental problems in the design of games which reflect uncertainty, various information conditions, and indeterminancy of the length of the play. Fifteen different solution concepts are noted and some results of experimentation with games with no face-to-face communication are discussed. (Author)
