STUDIES RELATED TO THE GASEOUS QUANTUM COUNTER

Abstract

Progress made in an investigation of the practical limitations to the theoretical potentialities of a gaseous quantum counter is discussed. The GQC is a device which makes use of the stimulated emissions of certain gases. The experimental approach is outlined, and the results of the physical experiment are reported. (Author)
