A RADAR INVESTIGATION OF PRECIPITATION LINES

Abstract

A study was made of precipitation lines observed by use of a 10-cm radar set located at The Pennsylvania State University. The problem was to determine to what extent the movement of these lines is related to the winds aloft and what effect the topography of central Pennsylvania has on their movement. (Author)
