DIFFERENTIATION AND INTEGRATION ON CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Career development is conceived as the process of fashioning a vocational identity through differentiation and integration of the personality as one confronts the problem of work in living. Some of the research in career development is summarized. Although the research is considered in a broad way, it is not exhaustively considered. The review offers a general summary of research completed and generally published as a part of the series entitled 'Harvard Studies in Career Development,' a review not previously available.
