PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE ON HIGH PERVEANCE CATHODE RAY TUBES

Abstract

Research and production was continued on highperveance cathode ray tubes. Experiments to reduce the large beam angle and its resulting effects were attempted but were not completely successful. The Z4808 FRM tube was constructed, and no additional problem areas were encountered in this larger configuration. A facility was set up to provide dot cathodes and drill 0.003inch diameter meniscus apertures on a production basis. (Author)
