RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ON HIGH-POWER CRESTATRONS FOR THE 100-300 MC FREQUENCY RANGE.

Abstract

Experimental tests on the P sub mu = 4.46 gun with an Einzel lens have been made to determine the optimum geometry of the focusing electrodes for best beam transmission through the gun. A symmetric gun and focusing system has been written and is in the final check-out stage. Provision is made to include space-charge effects in this program. (Author)
