A SURVEY OF THE LITERATURE ON MIXED PATH PROPAGATION

Abstract

Papers are reviewed which deal with the propagation of radio waves over a ground consisting of areas of various electric constants. The survey is divided into two parts, the first one describing the more or less semiempirical solutions, which havee been proposed, the latter describing the more rigorous mathematical methods of calculations, among these the compensation theorem methods, and of use to all mixed path problems.
