Abstract
The MR8-77 HYTOOL and P2S22 insulated splice were developed to splice Wf-16 telephone cables. The P2S22 insulated splice consists of a nylon (Zytel 101) insulating sleeve; two OFHC, fully annealed, tin plated copper inner ferrules; and two outer, fully annealed OFHC, tin plated copper sleeves. The complete splice assembly is approximately 1 and 1/4 inches long, 1/4 inch wide, 1/8 inch thick and accommodates two parallel pairs of WF16( )/ ttyyppee cc
