DIGITAL COMPUTER SIMULATION OF IMPULSE NOISE

Abstract

A method of using a digital computer to generate probability distributions is described. These distributions can then be used to simulate the effects of impulse noise on the transmission of digital data. The statistics of impulse noise is discussed, and two probability distributionsARE PROPOSED IN ORDER TO DESCRIBE THESE PHENOMENA. (Author)
