DEVELOPMENT OF COOL-BURNING, SINGLE-BASE, EXTRUDED PROPELLANT FOR 20MM AIRCRAFT AMMUNITION

Abstract

Final ballistic results of the 140 F long term storage test performed at Frankford Arsenal with experimental single base extruded propellant CR7695 are given. Propellant CR7695 is ballistically stable in long term, high-temperature storage and suitable for use in 20mm aircraft ammunition. (Author)
