SYMMETRIC DUAL QUADRATIC PROGRAMS

Abstract

Two quadratic programs are presented which are dual, naturally symmetric, and related to a selfdual quadratic program. It is consequence of the duali y of these programs that if either has an optimal solution, then they share an optimal solution in common. Since duality, symmetry, and self-duality have each been studied by Dorn, some attention is given to the relation between the present work and his.
