THE EFFECTS OF FILLERS ON THE STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF ' 'VYTON A' ' VULCANIZATES

Abstract

The use of a filler changes the structure of a vulcanizate, resulting in an increase in the molecular weight M of e vulca iz l ttice. The amou t of increase of M depends on the type of filler. The degree of cross linkage influences the true strength of Vyton A vulcani at ig p r ur s. H RE I A DECREASE IN THE STRENGTH OF THE VULCANIZATES IN THE REGION OF DENSE LATTICES AND IN THE REGION OF VERY SPARSE LATTICES. The fillers have a substantial effect on the longevity of the vulcanizates. The creep of vulcanizates mad from Vyto C B CR BY U ING FILL R BY I CR I G U BER OF TRAN VER BONDS IN E VULCANIZATES.
