A BALANCED TWO-SLIT MAGNETIC HEAD

Abstract

The design of a balanced two-slit magnetic head for recording and reproducing a signal is described. It is novel in that to suppress the signal being recorded in the reproduction winding, the magnetic circuit of the head consists of three bars with the two halves of the recording winding located on the outer bars and the reproduction winding on the middle bar.
