SYNTHETIC BENTONITE SHEETS OR FILMS

Abstract

Methods of forming water-swelling synthetic bentonite materials into sheet or film form are given. The dielectric properties of these sheets, treated and untreated, are compared with the properties of natural bentonite sheets. Thin flexible sheets with high dielectric strength were obtained.
