H-182/PT HEADSET MICROPHONE

Abstract

The development is presented of the H-182/PT Headset-Microphone which is intended for use with the Telephone Set TA-312/PT and Switchboard SB-22. If required, it may be worn with combat helmet M-1. Telephone or radio signals are continuously monitored. The microphone functions are switch selected; push-to-talk telephone transmission, continuous telephone transmission, and push-to-talk radio transmission. The H182/PT is a small unit designed to be stored in the top cover of Switchboard SB-22 or folded and carried in the pocket of a combat field jacket. (Author)
