A QUASI-RANDOM SEQUENCE FOR MEMORY EXPERIMENTS

Abstract

A method is presented for constructing sequences with properties which make them useful in ordering stimuli for recognition memory experiments. A main feature of the method is the facility for controlling and efficiently manipulating the number of items occurring between the initial and subsequent occurrences of given items. (Author)
