Field Procedures for Computing High Frequencies for Communications Circuits Based on Long Term Propagation Predictions (A Short Graphical Method).
Abstract
The short graphical method - long term Maximum Useful Frequencies (MUF) and Optimum Traffic Frequencies (FOT) charts are designed to provide approximate values where only the general range of frequencies are required. When the requirement for sunspot numbers falling between zero and 130 exists, both should be worked out and visual interpolation between them will provide the approximate values for a given sunspot number.
