Abstract

Research and development programs, progress in respective work areas, cooperative endeavors of each agency, and examples of beneficial liaison activities are described. Research and development activities are grouped under the general fields of (a) food, (b) textiles and leather, (c) chemicals and polymers, (d) packaging, (e) environmental and soil research, and (f) pesticides and microbiological investigations.
