EQUIVALENCE OF PENETRAMETER SYSTEMS

Abstract

A mathematical expression was developed which relates the equivalency between different penetrameter types. Experimental data obtained from 36 film readers supports the validity of the equation. Equivalency between the International Institute of Welding and American Society for Testing and Materials penetrameters is given. (Author)
