EVALUATION OF A DOUBLE-WALL, TUBULAR-CELL, AIR-SUPPORTED TYPE OF TENT

Abstract

A double-wall, tubular-cell, air-supported type of tent was evaluated to determine the feasibility of utilizing this type of tent as an organizational maintenance shelter for the HU-1( ) helicopter and those aircraft having a requirement for a shelter of similar size. Provision of adequate shelter for the performance of organizational maintenance appears feasible.
