EQUIPMENT FOR GAS-ELECTRIC WELDING OF MAIN PIPE LINES WITHOUT SUPPORTING WHEELS
Abstract
Technology and equipment were developed for the automatic welding of revolvable joints in CO2 gas without supporting wheels, in which the first layer of the seam is accomplished with the gaselectric automatic device ASP-60. For welding non-revolvable joints of pipe lines, a gas-electric semiautomatic welding tool (PTV-1) and a gas-electric automatic device (AS-60) were built. (Author)
