DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF ONE ELECTROLUMINESCENT SONAR DISPLAY

Abstract

Display processing studies were continued with the major e fort on obtaining a dielectric frit having the necessary characteristics for use in the display. Firing schedules were varied to obtain a uniform layer having the proper electrical properties. The electrical requirements for the analyzer filter were established. The simple tuned circuit approach was discarded because of excessive cost and a Q multiplier circuit was developed which was less complex and of reduced weight. The LC circuit is analyzed and the control parameters established. (Author)
