Abstract
The relationship between coherence and beam directivity of a ruby laser was studied. It was shown that radiation pulses during emission occur simultaneously over the entire radiating area of the crystal. It was shown that emission pulses always occur simultaneously in various regions of the crystal, though at times there may be a difference in the relative peak size. (Author)
