AN EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF EVAPORATIVE COOLING OF THE SURFACE OF A POROUS CONE WITH A HIGH-TEMPERATURE GAS FLOW PASSING AROUND IT

Abstract

The film regime of evaporative cooling of the surfaces of porous cones with different vertex angles and with high temperature gas flows passing around them is considered. The results of the experiments are generalized on the basis of the theory of similarity. Criterional equations are obtained for the film regime of evaporative cooling of porous cones with different vertex angles. (Author)
