EXAMINATION OF HEAT TRANSFER PROCESSES IN HEAT-PRODUCING ELEMENTS OF NUCLEAR REACTORS BY METHOD OF HYDRAULIC MODELLING

Abstract

Methods and results of examining the un teady temperature fields of heat-producing elements (HPE) of water-moderated, water-cooled nuclear reactors are treated. By means of hydraulic modelling, temperature fields of HPE ere found, taking into account the variation in the heat conduction coefficient of HPE materials with temperature, changes in dimensions of HPE on heating, and he effect of the negative temperature coefficient of reactivity.
