PSEUDO RANDOM ARRAY INVESTIGATION

Abstract

An investigation concerning pseudo random arrays is described. Particular emphasis was placed on applying new areas of mathematics to the array problem. For example, dynamic programming and number theory were explored and related to linear array theory. Techniques for thinning planar arrays by random removal of elements from equally spaced arrays are discussed, and the ring array investigation was continued with calculations of several patterns. Other criteria for obtaining good patterns were investigated. (Author)
