EXTENSION OF ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT LIFE PREDICTION STUDY

Abstract

An effort was made to prove the feasibility of providing field instrumentation capable of measuring the rate of degradatio of performance of individual piec of electronic equipment. The major effort was as follo s: (1) check out a d mo ify the unified test console using 100 AN/PRC- 6 radio sets; (2 complete the computer program for obtaining the eigenvalues and start reducing the data taken on the AN/PRC-6 radio sets; an (3) make repetitive measurements on all the AN/PRC-6 radio sets at twenty-hour operating in ervals to provide sta is ical data for re uction and the predictio .
