Abstract

A study was made of 65 known and of 354 newlydiscovered variable stars in a region in or near the constellation Scutum. The variables were investigated on pl tes of the Maria Mitchell Observatory and on plates of the Harvard College Observatory and Leiden Observatory collections. (Author)
