PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR SUBMINIATURE, TRANSISTOR TYPE POTENTIOMETERS

Abstract

A report of the work performed on a mechanism incorporating a bridging contact designed for the control was rejected as unsatisfactory. A new contact mechanism was designed, tooled, and built. Samples incorporating this new design are presently on test. Advancements in resistance element formulations were made. These advances are being incorporated in the design of the unit and should improve the stability and reliability of the 3/8 inch diameter units. (Author)
