CARBOHYDRATE DERIVATIVES FOR PROTECTION FROM RADIATION DAMAGE
Abstract
Carbohydrate derivatives of established radioprotective agents with guanidino or amino groups separated from a thiol group by 2 or 3 carbon atoms were synthesized in an attempt to reduce their toxicity.
