KIT, OFF-ROAD CONVERSION,M52-127 TRUCK TRACTOR SEMITRAILER COMBINATION
Abstract
The off-road conversion kit consists of a set of component items which allow application of 14.75x20 tube type, nondirectional, military desert tires to the M52 truck tractor and M127 semitrailer combination in order to improve offroad mobility. These vehices are rated to carry 18 tons on road and 12 tons off road, and are normally equipped with 11.00x20 tube type, non-directional, military ross country tires. Tandem wheels are dual (14.00x20 miliary cross country tires can also be used with the kit). (Author)
