DISTRIBUTION OF TEMPERATURE IN A HOLLOW INFINITE CYLINDER

Abstract

The dependence of the ignition temperature on composition of mixures of CH5OH and C6H6 was determined. A minimum is observed at a mole fraction ratio of about 0.75 to 0.25. Dependence of the ignition limit on the composition of various mixtures of C6H6, C6H5CH3, C2H5OH, and CH3OCH3 was also determined. An empirical equation was derived for calculation of the ignition limit.
