THE SUPPRESSION OF SELF-OSCILLATIONS IN A SERVO-PILOT SYSTEM

Abstract

By combining the method of harmonic balance with D-decomposition operations a zone is isolated in which it is possile to develop self-oscillations. The influence of the parameters of the system and of the pulses with respect to the derivative of the deformation of these zones is shown. The possiblity of suppressing selfoscillations by introducing compensating nonlinearity is explained. This is carried out ccording to the proposal of G. S. Pospelov. The developed method of finding and suppressing self-oscillations is not limited by the oder of the system and does not ignore important features of non-linear systems. In making the technical calculation, it pemits us to take into consideration the sliding of the object, the imperfection of the differeniators, the ineria of the amplifiers, etc. Ths makes the method more broadly appliable.
