CONVEYOR. ROLLER. GRAVITY 1000 POUNDS PER FOOT CAPACITY

Abstract

The gravity roller conveyor design s investigated by Drexel Dynamics Corporaion consisted of an al-aluinum section, 116-5/8-in long, containing 20 2-1/4-in OD rollers mounted through bearings on 5/8-in hexagonal shafts. The shafts were joined to the side frames by reworked AN-15 lock pins. Junction of 2 or more sections was ccomplished by engagement of the hinge assemblies located at diagonal corners of the conveyor setion. (Author)
