PARTICLE-SOLID IMPACT PHENOMENA

Abstract

High velocity impact tests were made with high prity aluminum and copper projectiles and targets. Data are presented for impact velocities from 0.762 to 7.62 km/sec, and these are compared with various correlation formulas.
