REVIEW OF HUMAN FACTORS STUDIES OF M-113 AND A NEW CONCEPT ARMORED SQUAD CARRIER
Abstract
This report summarizes some of the basic human factor problems existing in the M-113 APC, and describes a human factor design approach for a new Armored S uad Carrier Con ept. In addition, a new concept mock-up, based on some of the design parameters listed, was built and is described. The new concept emphasizes areas of crew efficiency and stowage of equipment. (Author)
